All of these weight loss diets focus on foods to eat, or not eat; most include exercise. They often require the purchase of specific foods but deprive you of others. Buying the ingredients to follow the dictates of the diet can be expensive, is almost guaranteed to be more work intensive and inconvenient, and WILL deprive you of food you love or of entire food groups. Deprivation will make these weight loss diets difficult if not impossible to maintain in the long run and may even deprive you of essential nutrients needed for optimum health!
BUT, none of these weight loss diets address THE key factor. WHY?
